eTitle Celebrates Grand Opening in Village at Leesburg

President Alison Orlans discussed what she looks forward to now that they're in a new location

When Alison Orlans was looking to relocate her real estate transaction firm, she decided that a third-floor office suite in the Village at Leesburg would fit the needs of her employees and business.

Orlans, a Leesburg resident and president of eTitle, said the 150-acre, upscale lifestyle center is not only a central location for employees who commute but also an energizer with its fitness complex, Wegman’s grocery store, restaurants, retail and homes.

“It’s nice to have things close by for employees,” she said.

Orlans, employees, clients and community members celebrated eTitle’s new location with a grand opening last Thursday inside the firm’s newly furnished 12,500 square foot office space.

eTitle, which provides title insurance and real estate settlement services for residential, commercial and REO properties, serves clients from Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C.

Jan Purcell, interior designer for eTitle, noted that many of the new office’s features adhere to Leadership in Engineering and Design (LEED) guidelines, from energy efficient lighting to carpet and furniture constructed from sustainable materials. Large windows give the firm’s 118 staff members plenty of natural light that warms the cool green, blue and cream colored walls.

Marantha Edwards, Leesburg Economic Development Manager, noted that eTitle’s decision to conduct its business in the Village at Leesburg is important since the lifestyle center is the first of its kind in the town.

The town of Leesburg has a “multi-faceted approach” to attracting business, Edwards said, which includes marketing, working to improve land development processes, promoting Leesburg’s well-educated workforce and building a relationship with existing businesses.

eTitle is located at 1602 Village Market Boulevard SE, Suite 300. Call 703-777-4261.
