Five Things to Know This Week

Smarts Mill Middle School will present Beauty and the Beast Jr. beginning on April 19.

1. A career seminar will be hosted by Coldwell Banker on Thursday, April 19 beginning at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Find out if a career in real estate sales is a right choice for you during this one-hour no pressure, no obligation event. There will also be a Q&A session where all of your questions will be answered.

2. Belmont Ridge Middle School proudly presents SEUSSICAL, which will continue to take place on April 19, 20, and 21. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and performances begin at 7 p.m. each evening. There are also Saturday matinee performances at 1 p.m. on April 21. Doors for the matinees open at 12:30 p.m. 

3. The Tally Ho will host Off the Cuff (OTC) on Friday, April 20 beginning at 8 p.m. Featuring local comedians Steve Heaton and David Sly, OTC presents an evening of high octane improv comedy and original sketches. This edgy, fast-paced show is geared towards the college crowd. Tickets are $10 per person.

4. Smarts Mill Middle School presents Beauty and the Beast Jr. on April 19 at 7 p.m., Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 21 at 2:30 and 7 p.m. Tickets:$ 4.00 for students and seniors $5.00 for adults. The show will be held in the school's auditorium. 

5. The Lucketts Bluegrass Series will feature Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers in concert on Saturday, April 21 at the Lucketts Elementary School, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available.
