Free Tour to Be Offered at Clerk's Office

Historic Records Manager John Fishback will lead a tour of the county's records.

A free tour of the Clerk’s Office will take place on Monday, May 14. Historic Records Manager John Fishback will discuss the extent of Loudoun County’s record holdings, including where to look for information on births, deaths, marriages and deed, while teaching how to use the records for research.

“A lot of people don’t know what the Clerk’s Office has in it,” Fishback said, adding that people seem to enjoy it once they know what’s available. “We’re always glad to have people come in and see what we have. We’re very proud of what we have so it’s nice to have people come in and see it while learning how to use it.”

Monday night’s event is free and open to the public. It is one of two tours this year.
