Are you looking for a place to celebrate fall with pumpkin picking, hay mazes, and hot cider? We've got some suggestions on where to celebrate fall this year in Northern Virginia.

PUMPKIN PATCHES & FAMILY FUN 

  • Temple Hall Farm Regional Park, Leesburg
    Temple Hall Farm Regional Park will will hold its 13th annual Corn Maize and Fall Festival every Friday through Sunday now until Oct. 14. This year’s theme is in celebration of the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary, which is portrayed in the 24-acre maize. Wagon and camel rides, corn canons, pumpkin blasters, paint ball games and pick your own pumpkins are just some of the activities taking place.
  • Pumpkinville Fall Festival, Leesburg
    The Pumpkinville Fall Festival at Leesburg Animal Park offers all kinds of fall fun, from hay wagon and pony rides to a pumpkin patch, hay maze, moon bounces, face painting, live entertainment and more.

  • Wegmeyer Farms, Purcellville
    Pick your own pumpkins and take a walk through the hay maze at the picturesque Wegmeyer Farms.
  • Great Country Farms, Bluemont
    Pick your own pumpkins, visit the pumpkin princess, enjoy a corn maze or cheer for your favorite pig as they race around the track. The Fall Harvest Festival has a number of activities to keep your family busy.

  • Hill High Farm Pumpkin Patch, Winchester
    The Pumpkin Patch at Hill High Farm offers a large pumpkin patch, crop circle corn maze, tasty treats for sale and the Haunted Nightmares Haunted House.
  • Bradley Farm Spooky Sprint & Kids Haunt, Herndon
    The annual Bradley Farm Haunted House is offering the family friendly Spooky Sprint this year, a two-mile fun run and walk created especially for families. The annual haunted house will also host a haunt especially for children that will include indoor trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt and more.

  • Cox Farms Fall Festival, Centreville
    Cox Farms in Centreville offer a great fall festival with giant slides, hay rides, pumpkins, cider and more.

  • Fall Pumpkin Festival at Ticonderoga, Chantilly
    The Fall Pumpkin Festival at Ticonderoga Farms has a pumpkin patch, slides, hay rides, hay forts, fire pits and much, much more. A pie-size pumpkin is included with every admission. 

  • Air and Scare at Udvar-Hazy, Chantilly
    Visit Udvar-Hazy for the annual Air and Scare family friendly event. The event includes indoor trick-or-treating, creepy crafts and spooky science experiments.

  • Heather Hill Pumpkin Patch, Fairfax Station
    The pumpkin patch at Heather Hill Gardens offers a variety of pumpkins, gourds and mums, as well as a petting zoo, moon bounce and a variety of activities for children.
