Flakes began falling in the late hours of Wednesday night, leaving a layer of fresh snow for the Thursday morning commute and giving all Loudoun County Public Schools students a two-hour delay.
The National Weather Service predicts about an inch of snow accumulated this morning. The service says more snow may be in the forecast for Friday starting at 1 p.m., making for a difficult evening rush hour.
