How Did Your Neighbors Vote for Virginia Governor?

Democrat Terry McAuliffe won the 2013 governor's race in a squeaker over Republican Ken Cuccinelli — in the statewide vote.

That struggled reared its head in Loudoun, where Cuccinelli found pockets of support across the county, including in eastern and central Loudoun, where some politicos questioned his popularity – or McAuliffe’s lack thereof.

McAuliffe won the state, 47.75 percent to 45.27 percent. In Loudoun County, McAuliffe won 49.59 percent of the votes, Cuccinelli got 45.18 percent and Libertarian Robert Sarvis had 5 percent.
