Virginia Elections 2013: An Obamacare Referendum?

What do you think? Republicans focusing on healthcare overhaul in final push to Election Day.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli has had a tough time getting voters to absorb any of his attacks on Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

But, in the final days of a bruising campaign from both candidates, Cuccinelli is focusing on Obamacare, the healthcare reform led by President Barack Obama that has struggled in the first weeks of new policy registration.

What do you think? Should McAuliffe and Virginia Democrats be held responsible for the Obamacare rollout? Would it send a message to Washington?

“In the final days of the campaign, Terry McAuliffe is joining President Obama and Vice President Biden for a celebration of Obamacare,” Cuccinelli communications director Richard Cullen told Politico in regards to planned get-out-the-vote events this weekend.

Cuccinelli's attacks are not surprising — the administration has been playing defense since the Oct. 1 rollout. Significant website issues persist and some have lost existing insurance policies because they don't meet new standards.
