11th Annual Purcellville Townwide Tag Sale

An established Fall tradition and
a favorite whole-family event (2009 Visit Loudoun Tourism Event of the Year)
the Tag Sale draws over 8,000 bargain shoppers from throughout the region and
beyond. For the weekend, the entire Town of Purcellville becomes a giant flea
market. Boasting over 200 sales sites each year, there is something for
everyone from traditional yard sale fare to pumpkins and local produce in the
Farmers’ Market to antiques and collectibles from regional dealers at our
special Antique Flea Market.

The event is free to include
general parking. There is a Main St shuttle to carry you around Town, but walking
is easy with a 15 minute walk taking you from one end to the other. Website
provides helpful tips and maps to all the sale sites @ www.townwidetagsale.com.
A Tag Sale HQ and flea market with 90 vendors, food trucks and entertainment is
set up at Fireman’s Field, (250 S Nursery Avenue) and provides more maps and
info.

Purcellville is the heart of DC
Wine Country and home to over 8,000 residents. It is a great place to live and
raise a family, plus, a great place to shop and find a bargain! Visitors often
start their day in Town with a hearty, home-style diner breakfast or a bakery
sweet with a cup of gourmet coffee, head out and shop all the side street sales
riding the free Trolley and stick around for a great lunch at one of several
restaurants in or within an easy walk of the historic downtown area then drop
by our award winning Catoctin Creek Distillery, a winery or brewery (over 30
within 15 minute drive!) to wrap up your day.
