Crop for a Cause to Benefit Backpack Buddies

The Backpack Buddies program at Galilee UMC will be hosting a "Crop for a Cause" fundraiser in conjunction with the Junior Woman's Club of Loudoun on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 9am to 8pm.

Scrapbookers and crafters are invited to come spend a fun-filled and productive day getting caught up on your family's memories or working on projects while supporting two local Loudoun organizations.

Registration is $50/person (half an 8' table) or $60/person (whole 6' table).

Registration includes continental breakfast and coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks, door prizes, raffles, free vendor make n' takes, and reserved table space. The registration deadline is March 16, 2014.

The Backpack Buddies program at Galilee UMC supports 282 local children by providing meal packs for weekends, holidays, and summer break. The program provided over $50,000 in food to the local community in 2013 and currently serves students at Countryside and Meadowland Elementary Schools and Seneca Ridge Middle School. The Junior Woman's Club has been supporting local charities since 1950 and was named the Outstanding Volunteer Group of Loudoun County in 2010.
