Community Corner

NVHC Thanksgivvukah Boutique

Are you ready to serve your latkes with cranberry sauce instead of apple sauce?

This year Chanukah falls on Thanksgiving, which happens once in a lifetime so our boutique is very early.

Please plan to stop by the boutique to purchase all your gifts for the kids, family and friends. We have many new designs/styles of menorahs, dreidels, games, gift wrap, serving pieces and much, much more.  We will even have NUT FREE GELT in milk and dark chocolate.

If you'd like to do more than shop, we are in need of volunteers to help before, during, and after the boutique.  We're looking for people of all ages from middle school to retirement who are interested in helping us set up on Saturday 11/16 to cleaning up on Sunday 11/17. Please open the following link to sign up: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DADAC2FA64-chanukah.

If you or someone you know can help, please sign up online or contact Mera C.K. Diaz at nvhc.giftshop@yahoo.com or stop by the shop on any Sunday to speak with one of the staff members.  (This is a great project for anyone having to perform community service hours.)

You can also purchase a specially designed T-shirt to commemorate this special occasion. Click this link for details to order for the whole family: https://www.booster.com/thanksgivukkah

Lastly, do you have a home-based business where you sell items like art, cosmetics, jewelry, candles, food, vitamins or essential oils, etc.?  If so, we are welcoming these congregants to rent a table and sell their wares at the boutique OR if you know a non-member who sells Judaic items, we welcome them as well. Space is limited so contact Mera today to reserve your table.
We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
