Teen Symposium: Equipping High School Students With The Tools To Navigate Life

Calling all high school students...

For the fourth consecutive year, two local public service organizations--the Loudoun County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Dulles-Leesburg (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.--will team together to host a leadership seminar known as EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities to Develop Independence) Impact Day.  Through panel discussions and activities, up to 50 teens in Loudoun County, males and females in grades 9-12, will be actively engaged in learning and implementing decision-making skills focused on financial management, social media and resume writing, interviewing and presentation skills.  Discussions on "taking personal responsibility" and "building healthy relationships" will also be included this year.
