Yoga Alignment Workshop: Backbends and Inversions
Go against the grain by bending backward and turning upside down. Practice backbends to invigorate, energize and combat depression. Create space in the chest and shoulders for better breathing and circulation to the heart. Inversions are the “raja” royal poses in hatha yoga with the king and queen, headstand and shoulder stand. They rejuvenate the whole system, improving circulation, toning the endocrine glands, and much more. Every level of student will be assisted to explore some level of these poses.
