Operation Homefront DC, which aims to provide emergency financial aid for members of the armed services, is looking for volunteers in Leesburg this weekend.
Volunteers will be helping to collect enough school supplies to fill 5,000 backpacks for military families.
The group will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Potomac Station Giant Food Store, 635 Potomac Station Dr N.E., Leesburg.
