On March 29th, one of our beloved staff members was diagnosed with not 1, but 2 tumors within the right parietal lobe of her brain. This part of the brain is the part that controls optical sensory perception and left side motor skills.  On April 18th, she will undergo surgery to remove these masses at which time, they will be biopsied and with God's good graces, will be deemed benign. ((**Update**  Heather's Surgery went well, and she is recovering well.  Her tumors were found to be Stage 4 Aggressive, and she will be facing 6-12 month of Chemotherapy.  She has a long road, but she is a fighter and has a great attitude.))

Regardless of the outcome, she's gonna be in recovery for at least 4 to 6 weeks(see update above).  As many of you know, today's health insurance doesn't cover nearly enough. We at Spanky's stand by our family in good times and bad, so this fundraiser is being held to help her financially as well as emotionally. 23 years old is too young to be dealing with something like this, but Heather is approaching it with grace and dignity. Help show your support on Saturday April 30th by attending and placing a bid on one our auction or raffle prizes.
