Attendees at the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life in Eastern Loudoun County on Saturday, June 11, will be treated to a performance by the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra at the luminary ceremony, AOL and the American Cancer Society announced today.

The proposed program by the 60-piece orchestra includes a 40-minute selection of inspirational music, with such selections as “Fanfare for the Common Man,” music from Les Miserables, and “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” among others. The performance is scheduled  for 8:45PM June 11 on the AOL campus.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out  and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.
