Rhino Chase 6K to Help Loudoun Interfaith Relief Feed Families in Need

Don't miss Lost Rhino Brewing Company's Rhino Chase 6K to raise money for Loudoun Interfaith Relief. The race starts at 11 a.m. Nov. 2 at the brewery, 21730 Red Rum Drive, Suite 142, in Ashburn.

For those looking to down a few brews afterward, you’re in luck. The race ends at the brewery, too. As the organizers put it, the Rhino Chase is 10 percent run and 90 percent party.

A portion of the proceeds of this run will go to Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR), which helps feed those in need. During the month of November LIR assembles and distributes 1,500 to 2,500 Thanksgiving food baskets. The group relies on food donations.

RHINO CHASE 6K donations will allow LIR to purchase grocery store gift cards so families can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. In August, LIR added 199 families to their food distribution. Typically, from November through January, LIR serves more than 8,000 people, more than half of which are children. For more information, visit www.interfaithrelief.org.
