Loudoun County Residents Pulled in Second Highest Incomes in U.S. in 2012

The county continues to rank near the top of the list for salaries.

Real estate and the cost of living in Northern Virginia are among the highest in the country—but so are salaries.

The median income in Loudoun County ($127,192) ranked second highest in the nation in 2012, behind only Arlington County ($137,216), according to a new list released by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Fairfax County landed in the fourth position ($124,831).

Rounding out the top four positions, Howard County, MD, came in third place at $125,192.
