Matthew Arthur Hipsley
March 16, 1983 - April 13, 2014
Matthew Arthur Hipsley, The Son of Glenn Hipsley and stepmom Susan Hipsley passed away Sunday April 13, 2014 leaving behind his wife Samantha Rhodes Hipsley and two children Nolan, 7 and Nathan, 4. Also stepdaughter Mariya Frye, 15. Sibling sister Melissa McKimmey, stepsister Janelle Bohrer and stepfather Morgan Coombs.
Matt grew up in Loudoun County and attended Loudoun County High School. He graduated in 2002. Matt was a very family and friend oriented person. He didn’t know how to say NO to anyone. If you needed him you could always count on him. Matt was the most happy, loving, caring and thoughtful person anyone could know. He was the best husband and father that we could ever have. He was always smiling and loved life to its fullest.
Unfortuately 6 years ago Matt was diagnosed with ITP which 3 years later was the wrong diagnosis. On October 31, 2011 Matt traveled to John Hopkins for a second opinion and he learned that he actually had some type of Bone Marrow Failure. That was a sad day for Matt and the whole family. Since last July 2013 Matt was in and out of the hospital for the past nine months. Matt was the best person and he will truly be missed. God love him!!
