After Late-Night Gunfire in Aldie, Two Dead, One Injured

Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office are continuing to examine what has initially been called a murder-suicide.

Investigators are calling an incident late Wednesday night in Aldie a domestic-related murder suicide, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to reports of gunfire on the 41700 block of Eloquence Square around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 7. The LCSO’s Rapid Response Unit entered the townhouse and found two dead adults.

Investigators believe the incident was a murder-suicide and confined to the home.

A third adult in the home was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two juveniles in the homes were not injured.

The sheriff’s office indicated more information would become available as the investigation moves forward.
