Car Catches Fire Following Collision

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is continuing their investigation regarding two vehicles that collided in Leesburg on Wednesday.

A car accident remains under investigation after two vehicles collided on Wednesday shortly after noon. 

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, a 16-year-old driver pulled out from Lake Ridge Place onto Rivercreek Parkway in front of a southbound SUV.

The juvenile's vehicle soon caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. Loudoun County Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene, and they were able to get the fire under control. 

No injuries were reported, however two juvenile passengers left the scene of the accident before police arrived. No names have been released and the crash remains under investigation.
