Detectives Make Arrest in Downtown Burglary Cases

Leesburg resident Blake Stroud, 31, is being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.

An arrest was made Thursday night by the Leesburg Police detectives charging one suspect with several crimes committed in the South King Street area of downtown Leesburg. The crimes occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 2. Leesburg resident Blake Stroud, 31, was arrested on the following charges:

  • Burglary –Cooley Gallery
  • Grand Larceny – Cooley Gallery
  • Attempted Burglary-Rouge Spa
  • Attempted Burglary – King Street Coffee

Stroud is being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center by the magistrate with no bond. These incidents remain under investigation at this time.
