Authorities are asking the driver of the Toyota Camry involved in an accident on Ivandale Road at the W&OD Trail in Hamilton to come forward.

Around 12:40 p.m. Friday, a 4-year-old riding his bicycle with his family on the trail crossed into the path of the silver Camry, according a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

A woman exited the car and checked on the child, according to the report. The family, who apparently did not see the initial incident, did not believe the child was hurt and allowed the woman to leave without obtaining her identity, according to the LCSO.
