LCSO Investigates Alleged Sterling Carjacking

A pizza delivery driver reported that he was assaulted before the suspect took his car.

Investigators with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an alleged carjacking that occurred around 10:15 p.m. Feb. 22 along the 21840 block of Baldwin Square in Sterling.

A pizza delivery driver reported that after making a delivery an unknown black male approached him. The driver, a 47-year-old Sterling man, told investigators that the suspect assaulted him with a blunt object, took the victim’s keys and left in the victim’s car, a 1999 blue, four-door Honda Civic.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-10 male in his late teens or early 20s. He reportedly wore a black baseball hat and a black jacket at the time of the robbery.

The victim received medical treatment at the scene.
