Sheriff Looks for Victims of Jewelry Burglaries

Deputies have recovered more than five dozen items, but have yet to find owners.

After two suspects were apprehended for a string of jewelry burglaries across Northern Virginia last month, the Loudoun County Sheriffs Office is looking for the owners of the more than five dozen items it recovered from the incidents.

Deputies posted pictures of about 66 items online, ranging from earrings and necklaces to rings and bracelets; colored stones to silver and gold.

Some of the items were found on suspects Alicia E. Johnson and Ruby Y. Johnson, both of Prince William County, when they were apprehended Nov. 19 in Leesburg for "charges stemming from burglaries in Prince William County," LCSO wrote in a statement.

Deputies believe the women were driving a 1997 Silver Acura when they carried out the burglaries.
