Leesburg Man Loses Life in Single-Vehicle Crash

Virginia State Police are continuing their investigation following a fatal single-vehicle crash, which took place Saturday morning, around 1:54 a.m.

Leesburg resident James E. Girvin, 25 was driving his 2004 Infiniti G35 westbound on Route 7, preparing to exit northbound to Route 901 and Lansdowne Blvd. when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The Infiniti struck a tree and Girvin was pronounced dead at the scene.
