The Leesburg Police reported the following incidents on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011:

THEFT
*The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Mayfair Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 14 after it was reported that items had been taken from  a vehicle. The incident occurred around 5:07 am.

* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 900 block of Edwards Ferry Road, on Wednesday, September 14, after it was reported someone had been shoplifting. The incident occurred around 11:52 am. 

*The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 100 block of Mayfair Drive, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, after it was reported that items had been taken from a vehicle. The incident occurred around 5:33 pm.

ASSAULT
* The Leesburg Police responded to the 200  block of Royal Street on Wednesday, September 14 after it was reported that someone had been assaulted domestically. The incident occurred around 8:05 am.
