Leesburg Police Crime Report

The following incidents were reported to take place from Friday, Sept. 16 to Sunday, Sept. 18

The Leesburg Police reported the following incidents on Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 18:

THEFT:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 900 block of Edwards Ferry Road, on Friday, Sept. 16, after it had been reported that someone was shoplifting. The incident occurred around 9:49 pm.

* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Hawks View Square, on Friday, Sept. 16, after fraud had been reported. The incident occurred around 10:03 am.

* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Plaza Street, on Saturday, Sept. 17, after it was reported that someone had stolen a vehicle.  The incident occurred around 1:54 am.

* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Fort Evans Road, on Sunday, Sept. 18, after it had been reported that someone had shoplifted in a local business. The incident occurred around 2:50 pm.

LARCENY:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 700 block of Bonnie Ridge Drive, on Friday, Sept. 16, after larceny had been reported. The incident occurred around 3:08 pm.

BURGLARY:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 600 block of McLeary Square, on Saturday, Sept. 17, after a burglary had been reported. The incident occurred around 4:39 pm.

THREATS:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to E. Market Street, on Saturday, Sept. 17, after threats had been reported in the area. The incident occurred around 2:22 am.

ASSAULT:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 600 block of Beauregard Drive, on Saturday, Sept. 17, after a simple assault had been reported. The incident occurred around 2:50 am.

FRAUD:
* The Leesburg Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Chickasaw Place, on Friday, Sept. 16, after fraud had been reported. The incident occurred around 2:10 pm.
