Second complaint results in separate charge

The Leesburg Police Department has filed additional charges against 23 year-old Leesburg resident, Brad R. Minor in regards to the investigation into the sexual assault of a 4 year-old student at the Chesterbrook Academy, a private school located at 6 Cardinal Park Drive SE in Leesburg. On March 7, 2011, the Leesburg Police Department received a complaint from a parent of a juvenile who attends the school, concerning comments made by the child and subsequently opened an investigation into the incident.  In addition to the previously filed charge of Forcible Sodomy, Minor has also been charged with Indecent Liberties With Child by Person in Custodial Relationship.

On July 6, 2011, the Leesburg Police Department was made aware of a second, separate complaint involving a different 4 year-old child at the school. As a result of the investigation into that complaint, a warrant was obtained today charging  Brad Minor with Aggravated Sexual Battery.

Minor remains in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond pending an arraignment on July 11, 2011 at 08:30 AM. Chesterbrook Academy has been made aware of the second complaint regarding Minor and are continuing to cooperate fully with the investigation.

The Leesburg Police Department is asking that anyone that has information on these incidents to contact Detective Shaw at (703) 771-4521. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can call the Leesburg Crime Line at (703) 443-TIPS.
