LCSO: Man Charged With Abduction, Assault

Tuesday investigation leads to several charges against Reston man, now held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center

Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies responding to a report of possible property damage early Tuesday morning instead found a man who allegedly shot a firearm during a domestic altercation inside a vehicle in Leesburg.

According to LCSO reports, deputies responded at 2:50 a.m. to Route 7 and Leeland Orchard Road to find Keyvan Rafiee, 28, of Reston, had discharged the firearm during an argument with a female passenger in the vehicle.

After investigating, police charged him with brandishing a firearm, abduction, assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle, simple assault and cruelty to animals.
