Police Release Additional Video of April Strong-Arm Robbery

Police released additional video of a teal Pontiac Sunfire, from which two suspects snatched the purse of female victim at the Tri-State Exxon and then fled to West Virginia early April 25.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are still seeking two white men who participated in the strong-arm robbery of a Washington, D.C. woman on April 25.

Police released additional security camera footage of the incident today, which can be seen here, while the original video released earlier this month is still available here.

The robbery took place at about 1 a.m. that day in the parking lot of Tri-State Exxon, located on Jefferson Pike near the Virginia- West Virginia border. A teal two-door Pontiac Sunfire with a West Virginia tag pulled up next to the 39-year-old woman, one of the occupants grabbed the her purse and knocked her to the ground. She declined medical treatment at the scene, according to police.

The car fled the scene on Route 340 towards West Virginia after the robbery. It was missing its front passenger-side hubcap at the time of the robbery, according to police.

The Loudoun County Sherrif’s Office encourages anyone with information to contact Investigator M. McCaffrey at 703-777-0475. Those callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. Information leading to an arrest and indictment could entitle the caller to a cash reward of up to $1,000.
