Wreck, Downed Power Lines Close Route 7 Monday Afternoon

A portion of Route 7 was closed in both directions for several hours Monday, according to Loudoun County Officials.

Downed power lines following traffic crash led to the closure. Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and Virginia State Police were forced to redirect traffic off of the busy route near Sterling.

Eastbound Route 7 was closed at Route 28 and westbound Route 7 was closed at Countryside Road.
