Southwest Community in Leesburg Reports Multiple Acts of Vandalism

Spray paint vandalism of homes, cars and street signs reported in Country Club community on Monday

Editor's Note: the following comes directly from a press release from the Leesburg Police Department. It has not been edited.

Between the late evening of 8-14-2011 and the early morning of 8-15-2011, multiple residences in the Country Club community of Leesburg were victims of vandalism by an unknown person or persons.  Several homes, cars and street signs were vandalized with spray paint.  A total of 27 reports were filed.  If anyone has any information as about these crimes and or who may be responsible, they are asked to call the Leesburg Police Department at 703-771-4500.  Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the Leesburg Police Crime Line at 703 – 443 – TIPS.  

Citizens are also reminded to call police if they observe suspicious activity in their communities so that law enforcement agencies can respond in a timely manner.
