Sterling Bank Robbed Upon Opening Thursday, Suspect Photos Released

Investigators were still on the scene late in the morning, and seek additional witnesses.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office investigators were at the PNC Bank on Free Court in Sterling following a robbery Thursday morning.

The suspect entered the bank just after 9 a.m. and demanded cash, according to an LCSO report. He was described as 5-foot-10, with a thin build, black pants, a black “toboggan” hat and a gray sweatshirt. Investigators are now speaking with witnesses. The FBI released the attached photos from surveillance video.

Anyone with information about the robbery who has not spoken to law enforcement is asked to call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021.
