Suspect Arrested in Leesburg Strong-Arm Robbery, Second Man Sought
Investigators continue to seek information about a second suspect in the incident at The Fields Apartments.
A Leesburg man has been charged related to a July 16 strong-arm robbery along Edwards Ferry Road at The Fields Apartments. A second suspect remains on the loose.
The Leesburg Police Department charged Gregory Keon Coates, 19, in the incident, and he remains at the county jail awaiting arraignment.
A woman reported that two men robbed her in the courtyard of the apartment complex around 1:20 a.m. July 16, taking her purse, which contained an iPhone 4S, according to a Leesburg Police report. The two men then fled on foot toward Hancock Place NE.

While Coates was identified and arrested, investigators continue to seek the second suspect, described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. The second suspect was further described as about 5-foot-9, 180 pounds and wearing a red hat.
