Suspect Arrested in Monday Night Stabbing

The Leesburg Police Department responded to the scene, which later led to the arrest of Reynaldo Garcia-Cabrera.

A stabbing took place in the 100 block of Meadows Lane, NE, Monday night leaving two Leesburg men injured with stab wounds.

Leesburg Police patrol units responded to the call just before 11 pm when a vehicle leaving the area of Meadows Lane was stopped by an officer en route to the scene. The driver was attempting to take a white male with stab wounds to the hospital.

A second victim was located by officers in nearby residence. The victims, both adult males ages 18 and 21, from Leesburg, were transported to local hospitals. Neither had life threatening injuries, although one victim was flown to Fairfax Hospital for treatment. Both have been treated and released.

Leesburg Police Department detectives and crime scene technicians from the Loudoun County Sheriffs Office were called out for the incident. After an initial investigation, it was determined that the stabbing occurred at a residence in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road, NE.

A search warrant was served at the residence on Edwards Ferry Road and a suspect was taken into custody. Reynaldo Garcia-Cabrera was taken before the magistrate and charged with two counts of malicious wounding. He is being held without bond.
