Justin M. Ahearn and Morgan A. Jennings remain held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Two suspects identified by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Investigators for their involvement in a Nov. 30 robbery turned turned themselves in to authorities on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Investigators obtained warrants for robbery for Justin M. Ahearn, 26, and Morgan A. Jennings, 25, both from Sterling.
The robbery occurred around 5:50 p.m. last week as the 33-year-old victim was loading items into her vehicle in the parking lot of the Dulles Crossing Plaza in Sterling. A small pick-up drove by and bumped the woman’s shopping cart and the driver reached out of the driver’s side window and grabbed the victim’s purse. The vehicle then fled the area.
Ahearn and Jennings turned themselves in after Loudoun Sheriff’s Investigators released surveillance video and images from the robbery through the Alert Loudoun system, in an attempt to help identify the suspects. The two were also both wanted by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office on a previous charge for possession of a controlled substance.
