Teen Crashes SUV into Loudoun County High School During Driving Lesson

A 14-year-old has been charged with reckless driving after crashing an SUV during a driving lesson.

A 14-year-old Leesburg teen has been charged with reckless driving on private property after crashing into a building at Loudoun County High School during a driving lesson.

Police spokesperson Lt. Jeff Dube said the teen's parent was giving him driving lessons when he lost control of an SUV, hitting the vehicle's gas instead of the break, the Washington Post reports. The incident occurred at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Dube said the teen, who did not have a driving permit, was clearly at fault. The teen's parent was not charged and the SUV was towed from the scene after leaving a hole in the high school's maintenance building.
