7 Guns Stolen from Restaurant in Leesburg; 2 Men Sought

Police hope to talk to a former employee at Cajun Experience and seek indentity of another man.

A Leesburg man and another unknown suspect are wanted in an investigation into firearms stolen from the Cajun Experience restaurant.

Two men entered the restaurant on Loudoun Street SE shortly before 1 a.m. Nov. 23 through the rear door, according a report from the Leesburg Police Department.

The men pushed open a window, reached inside and unlocked the door to gain entry, according to the police report. The suspects forced their way into a padlocked closet and took seven weapons, including rifles and shotguns, valued at $3,300, according to the report.

The burglary was reported around 9 p.m. Nov. 23.

Surveillance video helped identify former employee Schuyler Charles Bertolette, 27, of Leesburg, as one of the suspect. Bertolette is wanted on charges of burglary and grand larceny.

Investigators are seeking help identifying the other suspect, who is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. The second suspect had a goatee and wore a light-colored, hooded sweat jacket in the video.
