Valentine's Vandalism: Cars Damaged in Sterling Neighborhood

Seven reports, mostly tires damaged, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Someone didn't have a sweetheart to cuddle up with on Valentine's Day — and whoever it was took it out on the residents of one Sterling community.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office responded to seven incidents at homes up and down the East Beech Road area regarding cars damaged. See a map of the area here.

In most cases it was one or several tires damaged. In only one case, items were stolen from a vehicle: reportedly a GPS unit and an unidentified tool.

Time periods provided by the victims suggest that it could have happened anytime between 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
