Once again, weather has caused a delay in the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office’s Internet Safety and Drug Awareness Program schedule. The program scheduled at Loudoun Valley High School Thursday, Jan. 23, has been postponed to a date to be determined.

While the new date is unknown, the following is the current schedule for the program:
  • Jan. 27 Belmont Ridge Middle School (Drug Awareness) 7PM
  • Jan. 29 Freedom High School (Internet Safety) 7PM
  • Feb. 24 Park View High School (Internet Safety) 7PM
  • Feb. 26 Potomac Falls High School (Drug Awareness) 7PM
  • March 17 Woodgrove High School (Internet Safety)  7PM
  • March 24 Woodgrove High School (Drug Awareness)  7PM
According to the LCSO, the two-part course was designed to introduce parents to basic Internet safety and the dangers of synthetic and prescription drug abuse. The agency emphasizes that the classes are for PARENT ONLY because of graphic content.
