Woman Assaults LCSO Deputy
Leesburg resident allegedly hit Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deputy several times during incident last week.
A Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deputy who responded to a report of a fight in progress was hit several times by a woman allegedly involved in that fight on Promenade Drive.
Franchesca L. Wiley, 26, of Leesburg, was charged with assault
on law enforcement, disorderly conduct and a summons for public
intoxication, according to a LCSO release.
The LCSO deputy responded at 1:13 a.m. to a report of a fight in progress in the 19200 block of Promenade Drive. When the deputy arrived, she attempted to take a "disorderly female subject" -- identified by deputies as Wiley -- into custody.

But Wiley allegedly "struck the deputy several times."
Deputies also charged Sassafrass A. Wiley, 22, of Manassas,with obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and public intoxication, and two other people with pulic intoxication at the scene.

The injured deputy was treated and released at a local hospital.
