Closings, Delays & Cancellations for March 17, 2014

  • Town of Leesburg government offices are closed.
  • Trash collection in the SE/SW Quadrants is cancelled.  Trash will be collected in the NE/NW Quadrants on Tuesday, March 18. Residents in the SE/SW Quadrants will have trash collected on Thursday, March 20, along with recycling.
  • Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and Tennis Center will be open normal hours.  All classes before 12 noon are cancelled. A decision about afternoon classes will be made at 9:30am.
  • The Thomas Balch Library is closed.
Residents and businesses are reminded that they are responsible for clearing snow and ice from the public sidewalks adjacent to their properties.  Also, if possible, please clear snow from around fire hydrants.
