Metro-to-Loudoun Town Hall Meeting

Metro-to-Loudoun Town Hall Meeting

Loudoun Taxpayers for Accountable Government will conclude their series of Loudoun County ‘Town Hall’ meetings this Thursday in Leesburg. The meetings have served to inform local citizens on the Dulles Rail project and get their input. The success of this meeting series indicates there is still great need for the public to learn more about what the project means to Loudoun’s future. Based on the great attendance at the Lovettsville and Purcellville meetings, and the statements of those attending, grassroots opposition to Loudoun's participation in the project is increasing.

Presentations on the project design, costs, and possible funding mechanisms will be given, with time reserved for discussion and questions. Elected officials have been invited to attend to allow them to hear from their constituents and answer questions
