LTE: ‘Moderation’ Leads to Big Government

To The Editor:

This November, Virginia is at a very important crossroads as we go to the polls. In what direction will we take our State? Will we vote for bigger government and higher taxes? Or will we stand up against the tide of liberalism that is rapidly deteriorating our nation on every level?

In the 33rd District for the House of Delegates, Mary L.C. Daniel is admittedly, a “moderate” and is running on this platform. But what is “moderation?” “Moderation” is how the liberal left is marketing their big government agenda. We have seen where “moderation” leads us – down the path toward big and bigger spending and big and bigger government – higher taxes, more government regulation and more wasteful government spending.
