LTE: Not Impressed With Mary Daniel in 33rd Delegate Race

A LaRock supporter explains his reason for backing the Republican candidate.

Dear Editors,

“Mary Daniel doesn’t seem to have much to offer Virginia’s 33rd House of Delegates District. In her interview several weeks ago, she offered nothing in the way of solutions for our transportation issues or creating jobs. True, “nobody has all the right answers,” but she didn’t suggest any answers of her own. What are the people to believe? She should realize that The People are tired of the status quo with politicians.

So far the only position she has, is to oppose Dave LaRock. If she can show us how opposing LaRock is going to cut taxes, lower spending and create jobs in the Commonwealth, she’ll have a point. Until then, she’s just another Democrat picked by the party to naysay and offer no solutions.

Ms. Daniel claims to operate from the middle of the road, which means that she doesn’t really have anything solid for voters. We need a representative who will stand for something and be bold about it, not be wishy-washy. Let The People know EXACTLY WHAT YOU STAND FOR, and what you intend to do if elected. We the People know exactly where LaRock stands, he has never apologized for being a conservative, and has always made it clear how he will vote in the general assembly when elected.”

Regards,
