Obama Zombie Collage Shocks Viewers

A collage distributed by the Loudoun County Republican Committee has been referred to as "disgusting and shameful".

The Loudoun County Republican Committee (LCRC) is in the spotlight this week after distributing an animated image of President Barack Obama on Monday. In it, he was portrayed as a zombie with part of his skull missing and a bullet through his head.

According to the Washington Post, the e-mail was first reported on the blog Too Conservative, which referred to the image as "DISGUSTING AND SHAMEFUL". Someone should send this to the US Secret Service, the blog read.

Obama's photo was part of a collage, which also included House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), with a deformed face and an eye bulging from its socket. The message was distributed at 1:40 a.m. Oct. 31.

Chairman of the state party Pat Mullins was quoted saying the image was “disgusting,” while Gov. Bob McDonnell, through a spokesman, said it was “shameful and offensive.” Other local officials have over the image and have asked for a sincere apology from LCRC.
