Outreach Sessions to Focus on Metro

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors will provide information to the public regarding the future of the project, while allowing residents to share their comments and concerns.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors have scheduled four public outreach sessions regarding the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.

The first meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 24 at , 42940 Ridgeway Drive in Ashburn, from 7 to 9 p.m. Information regarding the project will be provided to the public as well as a Q& A.

  • May 30, 7 to 9 p.m. at Freedom High School, 25450 Riding Center Drive in South Riding
  • May 31, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cascades Senior Center, 21060 Whitfield Place, in Sterling 
  • June 2, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at Loudoun Valley High School, 340 N. Maple Avenue in Purcellville

A public input session will take place in the Board Room of the Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E. in Leesburg on June 4 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Speakers may sign up in advance by calling the Office of the County Administrator at 703-777-0200. Advance sign-up is open until noon on June 4. Speakers may also sign up in person the night of the public input session.

The Board of Supervisors has until July 4, to decide whether to commit to Phase II of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, which would extend Metrorail into Loudoun County.
