Introduction to Judaism

Beth Chaverim offers an evolving and expanding Adult Education program.  Introduction to Judaism is being offered this fall, beginning on Sunday, September 9th.

This 17-week class will be held Sundays from 9am until noon and will cover such basics as Jewish life cycle events, holy days, theology, conversion, history, and the decoding of Hebrew.  This interactive course will involve pre-readings, classes, journaling, discussion, and events such as Shabbat dinner.  Though it is not just a conversion course, Introduction to Judaism is a pre-requisite of the choosing Judaism process.

The cost for the course is $50 for non-members, and all attendees pay for books & materials (cost TBA).
