Leesburg Lad Heads to National Spelling Bee
Leesburg eighth-grader Jeremy Nathan is attending the Scripps National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, Md.
Jeremy Nathan, 13, an eighth-grade student at , is competing in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, Md., this week.
In addition to his career as a speller, Jeremy is an avid soccer player and video game enthusiast, and he likes listening to music, and reading, especially his favorite series, “Harry Potter.” He also plays the guitar, violin and piano, and is a fan of classical music and rock bands, especially the Beatles.
He hopes to become an aerospace engineer, and is a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
