The Varsity Lacrosse team travelled to Potomac Falls High School on Monday, March 26 for their second contest with the Panthers in just two weeks.
A stifling defense lead by AJ Smith, Tucker Langmead, Michael Rexrode and Jack Weber kept the Panthers at bay throughout the game. Michael Garramone and D’Marco McElhenney had strong performances in the cage for the Raiders.
The Panthers played a shutdown defense on the Raider’s attack positions prompting the midfielders to produce the majority of the contest’s scoring in the Raider’s 10-2 win.
Scoring for the Raiders: Justin England 1 goal, 2 assists; Evan O’Hara 1 assist; Brad Burke 2 goal; Ben Messina 2 goals; Zack Green 1 goal; Drayke Mash 1 assist; Marcus Crews-Naylor 1 goal; AJ Smith 1 assist; Dean Hildner 1 goal; Steve Hildner 1 assist; and Matt Gribbin 1 goal.
The Raiders Lacrosse teams will host the Loudoun Valley Vikings on Thursday, March 29. The JV game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the Varsity game at 7:30 p.m.
